Sealing of wall and floor surfaces under tile and slab linings in the case of stresses such as occur in shower rooms, bathrooms, shower areas over bathtubs and sanitary facilities in public and commercial areas with floor drains.

Also suitable for smoothing out irregularities.

Sealing of wall and floor surfaces of class A according to the test principles

(eg public showers, swimming pool walks, etc.) as well as the areas not subject to structural control under moderate loads according to class A0 and B0 (eg domestic baths, bathrooms of hotels, etc.). ).

For outdoor use:

Waterproofing and protection of the substrate against moisture penetration and efflorescence on terraces and balconies under tile and slab linings. Suitable substrates are cement screeds and concrete.

ARDEX 8 + 9 consists of the solvent-free ARDEX 8 acrylate dispersion with a weight of approx. 1.0 kg/litre and the ARDEX 9 reactive powder on a cement basis with a bulk density of approx. 1.2 kg / l.

For processing, the two components are mixed. When hardened, ARDEX 8 + 9 sealant is waterproof and highly ductile; does not affect dyeing on joint seal.

Compounding:

ARDEX 8 + 9 can be applied by spreading and by using a putty.

The sealing compound must first be applied in the levelable consistency, also in order to form the corner joints, wall connections, etc.

The mixing ratio is:

3.5 kg of ARDEX 8 acrylate dispersion

5.0 kg of ARDEX 9 Reactive Powder

To stir the spreadable consistency, the remaining ARDEX 8 acrylate dispersion is then added.

The mixing ratio is:

3.5 + 1.5 = 5.0 kg of ARDEX 8 acrylate dispersion
